I give this episode an 8. It was pretty good.

Beautiful visuals, awesome action, and big explosions. Anakin and Tarkin making a friendship was most welcome. It's ironic though that in ANH Tarkin won't know that Vader is Anakin.

R2 was finally characterized well. He was heroic, wasn't treated like a dog, and didn't make annoying sight gags.

Good episode but seemed pretty 'flat' to me... but then again the middle episodes of three-part-arcs typically do. So I'm guessing this episode will improve in retrospect with the final episode. The clone deaths and the progression of the story was rather well done... however it seemed a bit repetitive at times. Tarkin's character development is great and realistic.

I liked this episode quite a bit. The snares and traps reminded me of the Indiana Jones movies. Hated that we had to wait two weeks for it thoughRealmad

I liked the episode too. I liked Piell's 'this is war' line when being interrogated, and the villain is an uglier, less powerful Grievous. Also loved the scenes with Anakin and Tarkin.

I give this episode a 9/10.
