I give this episode a 9. It was pretty good.

Anakin in Mount Doom was an... interesting scene. I found it quite good visually though I didn't like the little figures floating around Anakin's head, it felt odd and unneeded.

Ending was expected with the Son dying but Father committing suicide was different and I kind of like it because I didn't expect it.

I liked it too. I was surprised and rather impressed they were willing to show a suicide like that. Granted there was one in the Mandalore episodes in S2, but that guy was a terrorist.
Fry: "What was the purpose of life, anyway?"
Farnsworth: "Who knows? Probably some hogwash about the human spirit."

I thought this was a fairly strong episode and I did enjoy it, but it suffered a bit because Anakin didn't do much in the final confrontation. This was the finale of the "Chosen One Trilogy", it needed an epic "Chosen one" moment to end it, Obi-Wan could have stabbed Son in the back just as easily as Anakin.

I give this episode a 9/10.

Great end to the arc. This was really a big revelation for the Star Wars universe. Adds a whole new level of tragedy to Anakin's story knowing that he HAS/HAD to suffer through the events of the PT and OT in order to save the universe and balance the Force. He has no choice he how it's life's going to play out, and thanks to Father he doesn't even know that now.

I liked this episode. It felt appropriate. So, it was all a dream. In that way, I think it really is one big metaphor. Even so, I imagine it's something like The Matrix, where it's all real in a way. If Anakin would have died, he would have really died, etc. It was really cool to see Anakin react to his future.
