When Count Dooku calls upon the Nightsisters seeking a replacement for Ventress, she and her kin seize the opportunity to exact revenge. I would have loved this, if not for the occasional cringe-worthy dialogue. Still, it's very enjoyable. Yes

I liked the fight scenes; I found them to be animated quite well, and as intense as necessary. I liked Ventress a lot here, even if I was surprised that Savaage could incite so much emotion from her just by grabbing her neck - the surprise I understand, but she seemed genuinely afraid, whereas I would expect her to be able to overtake him fairly easily, if needed.

I give this episode an 8. I liked it, but not as good as the previous episode.

The second act with the weapon appearing out of thin air was very strange.

The ending battle felt very tacked on, and I personally thought it was won way too easily.

Good episode all-round. Suffered from traditional 'middle of the trilogy' flaws in terms of pacing and what-not, but by the standards the show has set itself it was a remarkable episode all the same. Looking forward to the next one.
Fry: "What was the purpose of life, anyway?"
Farnsworth: "Who knows? Probably some hogwash about the human spirit."

I liked it quite a bit. It had a weird pacing, and this whole thing would most likely have worked as a movie. I also like the fact this show captures Jedi as they are meant to be. The Force was never supposed to be a weapon.

That was quite an episode! Brutal! Very good stuff but there was one thing I found strange. Why did Ventress not take out Dooku when he was with the Night Sisters? I guess the Federation would come down hard on the sisters if he was killed while on the planet.

I give this episode a 9/10.

I hate to say it, but this episode just didn't do it for me. I just couldn't get into the fights, and the pacing was all over the place. It went from quiet dinner to violent trial to military operation way too quickly. Disappointing, compared to what I was expecting, but not terrible. Ventress was once again great. Sultry, creepy, and dangerous.

As I suspected, the episodes suffer from being broken up. Lots of awkward exposition too. If you're going to introduce the Nightsisters as some kind of major player, why not give us some info on how their society works? Why are the men on the other side of the planet? Why can't they still have a matriarchy but have them co-mingled in the same society?

I like how Dooku was excited about having a new apprentice, and I like that he was letting him know they could maybe rule the galaxy together, but it felt a little early to be laying on the "we could kick ass!" speech.
I aim to misbehave.
