The midterm elections are about only 2 weeks out.

Here in Pennsylvania it looks like we'll be dumping our tea party governor Tom Corbett. Polls have shown him down by as much as 20 points.

Nothing really interesting election-wise where I live, though Scott Garrett, my Republican representative is only winning by 5 points. Doubt it'll flip this election (2016 is more likely).

Well, election was yesterday. The results:

Republican pickups
Senate (7): Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Montana, South Dakota, West Virginia, probably Louisiana too
Governor (4): Arkansas, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland(!)
House: At least 15 seats

Democratic pickups
Senate: None
Governor: Pennsylvania

Weed was legalized in Alaska, Oregon and D.C. Biggrin
