Locked file on computer
Recently, I downloaded a MKV file from the internet but for some reason my computer keeps locking the file. I can watch the file fine, but if I try to move, delete or rename it, it tells me: The action can't be completed because the file is open in Windows Explorer.

I can't figure out where it's open and I've tried all the solutions I can think of (like restarting my computer). Does anyone know any solutions?

I'm using Windows 7 if you're wondering.
I have the same problem, also with an MKV file. Does anyone know what to do?
In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant.
I've had this problem too, the solution I found works is to download a program called LockHunter which will unlock the file for you so you can at least delete it. If you wish to keep the file, download this program, which will create a new MKV file that isn't locked.

Thanks Gaven, it worked perfectly.Yoda-happy
