Since Leia and Luke are twins and that the Force is strong with both of them, if Leia was trained as Luke was, would she be as good or a better Jedi than him?

Think of the following:
-She is the daughter of Anakin Skywalker, who was the Chosen One after all.
-She appears to have better control over her emotions, like I'd expect a Jedi Knight to be.
-She is smart, brave and a natural born leader.

If given the proper Jedi training, would Leia be a better Jedi than him, knowing she has a much stronger personality and has been known to use the Force without previous training?

I'm not quite sure, but she'd certainly have been a different type of Jedi. I imagine she would have stayed with Yoda and finished her training. Would she be a better Jedi? That really depends on what you define "better" to be.

My guess is Leia would be the better Jedi, discipline wise. But as Wenty said, she'd would've been a different type of Jedi. I'd also hazard a guess that she probably wouldn't be interested in redeeming Vader (given how Vader tortured her, it would've probably turned out differently).
