I'd almost hazard a guess to say that all this revolution talk is meant to be voter imitation so that in the next election people vote for conservatives out of fear that if they vote for the other guy, the country will split into two or more.

I guess that would make sense. It's really sad how inept and stupid Americans can be at times. I ventured onto the Hannity forums just to see what the talk was about and boy I laughed my ass off at how stupid some of those people are. Like having Universal Health Care/Gay marriage is gonna destroy your freedoms. Your conservatives seem to do a better job at destroying your freedoms anyway.
Saw this earlier and just had to post it...
9 Vt. state office candidates favor secession

I doubt anything will come of it but do you think Vermont could survive on it's own?
^I think like all the other session movement it'll go no where. But if it does happen, I don't really see Vermont surviving on it's own.
I hope America doesn't descend into a civil war. But considering the way the nutters acted about Obama's birth certificate, I wouldn't be surprised if they did...

You would think if any of these people really believe this crap, why aren't they acting upon it? There are millions of people who think that Obama is an usurper, an illegal Kenyan occupying the White House in violation of the Constitution, with the intent of destroying America with communism, socialism and Islam. That Obama is the next Hitler. And yet what do these people do about it? Nothing. If Obama was even HALF of what Hitler was, I'd be motivated to take up arms and fight. Why don't these conservatives form rebel groups and take up arms to fight the government? Where are the bombings and the guerrilla attacks against a President that they view as being a dictator? The people of Tunisia and Egypt have already done it. The people in Libya, Syria, Yemen and Iran are doing it. Apparently people all over the Earth aren't afraid to pick up a gun and fight a government they view as oppressive.

Most white American conservatives just too cowardly and spineless to risk their own lives to fight against someone they perceive to be just as bad, if not worse, than Hitler. Not only are white American conservatives crazy and ignorant, but they are also cowardly pussies too afraid to translate their extremist crazy rhetoric into real world deeds that might require any amount of real sacrifice or danger on their part.
^I agree. Posting crap on message boards/comment sections/blogs is a very weak response to a dictator attempting to enslave your people. Besides, good luck trying to file a lawsuit against the Nuremberg Laws in 1937 Germany. The fact that you can still accuse the President of being a usurper and only get insulted is proof enough the USA is still the USA and not Stalin's USSR.

I never saw why the birth certificate is such a big deal, he proved he was a citizen of the United States of America what, three years ago in 2008. It was just a petty and bigoted attempt to remove Obama from office. At best it's just plain envy and trying too use any tactic to accomplish this, at the very worst, and unfortunately, far to close to the truth in my own opinion it's out and out racism, and it only ever got brought up in the first place was because he is Black.
I don't get the birther thing, what do they accomplish by doing all of this?

It all sounds racist to me. Obama is just trying to fix problems.

I think it was about hurting his chances for reelection. Given the public polling on the issue, attempting to exploit the birther issue in the 2012 election probably seemed like a promising strategy to Republicans. At least until Osama's death (which I think was the reason he released the certificate when he did).
