Jar Jar Binks is a Jedi Knight? So thinks the Separatists when comically heroic Gungan and C-3PO fight to save Padmé Amidala from doom at the hands of evil Viceroy Nute Gunray./On a diplomatic mission to Rodia, Padmé is captured by the evil Nute Gunray. Sensing Padmé in trouble, Jar Jar disguises himself as a Jedi and attempts a daring rescue of his fellow senator.

This episode wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Not my favorite episode, but it could've been far worse.

Jar Jar wasn't as bad as I thought he would be. Watching him wreck stuff, in good ways (knocking those droids off with the magnet thingy) and in bad ways (like crushing the ship) was pretty funny at times. I'm just glad it never reached the levels of idiocy that the Battle of Naboo was (with Jar Jar running and screaming around a battlefield). Its nice to see Jar Jar's honest devotion to rescuing Padme, no matter the odds.

Overall, I give this episode a 6/10. I hope to see more epsiodes written by Kevin Rubio. Wink
This episode wasn't the best but it was definitely enjoyable. Jar Jar actually wasn't that bad, his determination to save the senator was admirable, he didn't have the abilities or the powers of a Jedi, but he used his own natural abilities in summoning the slug monster to help him.
I give this episode a 7, I thought it was funny. Anthony Daniels is always a hoot as C3PO; they should use him more. And Jar-Jar doesn't really bother me that much, and I thought he was pretty brave and capable here. It was interesting to see Greedo's homeworld, and the environment was imaginative.

Padme was also pretty cool. Her Jedi ruse in the escape was too obvious and broad, but I could live with it because it's been established that the battle droid are really dumb (Maybe the Separatists deliberately give them low intelligence to ensure they don't get rebel?).
I enjoyed this episode. Many previous episodes have overlapped with elements which have already been seen in the previous Clone Wars cartoon or in the comics. We have never seen Jar Jar during the Clone Wars. So it's a fresh perspective.

Plus it was something different from the constant space battles or Jedi/Clone Troopers vs Battle Droids.

I have one continuity question, Nute Gunray is arrested during the Clone Wars? I'm pretty sure he was in Revenge of the Sith, was he not?
GREAT episode... they just keep getting better and better!!!YesThumbsup

The way the whole episode focused on Adalla and Jar Jar, bringing in these "old" new characters was fantastic!W00t

This episode was pretty hilarious. They treated Jar Jar like a big dumb idiot just like we (the fans) treat him. Nute was awesome and Senator Farr had a cool voice. Rodia is one the most beautiful Star Wars planets, they really outdid themselves. I also enjoyed the music as well. Smile
Tell you the truth I didn't really have high expectations for this episode, but I ended up enjoying it. Jar Jar was quite natural, and his honesty still remains intact, which is a plus with me for the character. The others shared the spotlight quite well too. It was also nice to see Rodia, it looked neat although from the stuff I've read I got the impression that Rodians were barbarians. I'll give the episode a 7/10.
